Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner is listed as a game time decision against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night after colliding with defenseman Jake Muzzin at practice on Friday.

After the play, Marner and Muzzin were spotted near center ice taking part in what appeared to be a somewhat heated exchange before Marner left the ice, accompanied by one of the Leafs' trainers.

There was some speculation on Friday that perhaps there was some sort of a rift between the two, but Muzzin's defense partner Justin Holl quickly dispelled any such rumours on Saturday.

"They're good. There was a lot of good-natured ribbing going around. When people are making fun of you for it, nobody really cares," Holl said ahead of the team's road tilt with with the Wild.

The Leafs have a very tight-knit group in the locker room. Many of these guys are like brothers, and every now and again, even brothers have disagreements. The important thing is that the whole thing was left on the ice so the Leafs can focus on a very strong 2021-22 campaign without any distractions.
