Not everyone is a fan of the shootout, but it can produce some pretty remarkable goals. Dennis Rasmussen of HC Davos (National League - Switzerland) stepped up for a shootout attempt that would win the game, and was picked off in fairly easy fashion by Luca Boltshauser of HC Lausanne. However, after the bounce off Boltshauser, the puck goes quite a ways up in the air, and lands in front of him. Boltshauser is now facing the net. He scrambles to grab it, but couldn't do it. Rasmussen ends up with the game winner and a final score of 3-2. It wasn't pretty, but it got the job done.
