According to Frank Seravalli of The Fourth Period, Montreal Canadiens prospect and Prince Albert Raiders defenceman Kaiden Guhle is going to be traded to the Edmonton Oil Kings.

"Sounds like there is a sizable WHL trade in the works - hearing #Habs first-round pick Kaiden Guhle is likely to go from Prince Albert to the Edmonton Oil Kings. Guhle was just picked for Team Canada's World Junior camp." Seravalli said in a tweet on Wednesday.

Guhle, 19, was having a solid start to the 2021-22 season as captain of the Prince Albert Raiders. In seventeen games, the Edmonton, Alberta native has fifteen points (two goals, thirteen assists), twenty-eight penalty minutes, and is a plus/minus-zero.

The 2020 first round pick of the Montreal Canadiens was named to Canada's selection camp roster for the upcoming World Juniors and given that he'll be one of only three returning players, he's a lock to make the final roster. There's also a good chance that Guhle will be apart of Canada's leadership group, possibly even as captain.
