Canes head coach Rod Brind'Amour slapped with big fine for badmouthing officials

The NHL has decided to impose a big fine on Carolina Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour after a game against the Washington Capitals on Sunday. Brind'Amour became very upset during the game after a penalty call on Sebastian Aho

Following the game, he also stated he felt the officials had potentially altered the outcome. He said it was a great game and it was a shame the way it ended, adding the officials "took it out of our hands."

Brind'Amour has been fined $25,000 by the NHL "for inappropriate conduct." The money goes to the NHL foundation.
