According to reports, the Boston Bruins have had a wealth of interest in winger Jake DeBrusk after the 25-year-old's agent went public and revealed that his client had requested a trade over the weekend.

TSN's Ryan Rishaug has suggested that as many as 8 teams have expressed an interest in acquiring the 2015 1st round draft pick, with more teams expected to reach out as well.

DeBrusk scored a career-high 27 goals in 68 games during the 2018-19 season, but has seen steady regression in every season since.

The Edmonton, Alberta native has appeared in 17 games for the Bruins this season, notching just 3 goals and 6 points over that span.

A change of scenery and some increased opportunity may be just what the doctor ordered for DeBrusk, who has slipped on the Bruins' depth chart in recent years.

If 8-10 teams do in fact have interest in acquiring DeBrusk, the Bruins could find themselves on the right end of a bidding war.
