The Tampa Bay Lightning, who are already without the services of superstar winger Nikita Kucherov will now also be without the services of superstar center Brayden Point the team announced on Sunday.

Point was injured on Saturday during a 5-3 afternoon loss against the New Jersey Devils after taking a nasty spill against the end boards after being tripped up on a breakaway. You can see the play where the injury is believed to have occurred below.

The Lightning have Point listed as "out indefinitely" due to an upper-body injury, which does not bode well for the defending champs in a very competitive Atlantic Division.

Point, 25, has registered 7 goals and 6 assists for 13 points across 16 games for the Bolts this season. The Lightning are currently sitting 3rd in the Atlantic with 21 points, just 4 points behind the Leafs with 3 games in hand, and 8 points behind the Panthers with 2 games in hand.
