The Anaheim Ducks are off to a roaring start, owners of a 10-5-3 record and currently sitting 8th in the overall league standings and 3rd in the Pacific Divison with 23 points.

Hot start aside, the Ducks will be without the services of forward Max Comtois for the next six weeks as the 22-year-old recovers from a surgical procedure to remove a small bone in his hand.

Comtois exploded onto the scene for the Ducks in 2020-21, putting up a career-high 33 points in 55 games and leading the team in scoring.

The Ducks' 2017 2nd-rounder (50th overall) has gotten off to a much slower start this season, managing just 1 lone assist to go along with 11 penalty minutes and a -3 rating through 13 games.
