Here's something you don't see too often in hockey fights. Nikita Dynyak of Kazan Ak-Bars and Karlis Cukste of Dinamo Riga decided to square off in the first period of a game in the KHL on Thursday. The two would dance around a little bit, looking for a good place to start. When they came together, both would swing and land punches at pretty much the exact same time. The result was both combatants going to the ice at the same time, at which point the officials stepped in to stop the fight. Both got fighting majors, but Dynyak got an extra two minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct. The officials apparently didn't like him taking another swing while he and Cukste were on the ice.
