It seems just about everyone in the hockey world is taking their shots at NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly over the Chicago Blackhawks scandal and ex-enforcer Andrew Peters is no different. Peters took to his social media to call on both Bettman and Daly to be fired from their respective positions, while also getting sarcastic with Bettman.

"Bettman and Daly need to go as well. It's long overdue anyway," said Peters.

"Maybe that's my CTE talking, eh Gary?," Peters added.

Peters was asked to join a lawsuit against the NHL over CTE, a brain disease caused by repeated concussions, but decided against it. In an article from 2013, Peters said he suffered seven diagnosed concussion since the age of 15, and he believes he had at least another dozen that would have counted by today's standards. He finished his NHL career with 229 games and 650 PIM.

Peters, who is now a contributor to the Sabres Hockey Network and co-hosts the daily talk show The Instigators on WGR Buffalo and MSG Western New York with fellow Sabres alumnus and teammate Craig Rivet, also believes NHLPA Executive Director Donald Fehr should be canned.

"If Donald Fehr lives through this vote, it means one thingThe players are brainwashed," said Peters following an announcement from the NHLPA that the union's executive members were voting on a motion to conduct an independent investigation into what the organization knew about the Kyle Beach situation with the Chicago Blackhawks and when.
