With the results of the independent investigation into the sexual assault of a player in the Blackhawks organization back in 2010 having been released to the public, most everyone knows the horrifying details of a sexual assault that had taken place during the team's championship run.

On Wednesday, former Blackhawks Black Ace and the victim of the assault perpetrated by former video coach Brad Aldrich, Kyle Beach revealed himself to the world after spending remaining anonymous for several months.

While most of the members of the 2010 Chicago Blackhawks have either moved on to new cities, or have hung up the skates and enter the next chapter of their lives, there are still two members of the 2010 team who are still with the team - sniper Patrick Kane and captain Jonathan Toews.

Despite testimony from two former Blackhawks in Nick Boynton and Brent Sopel, as well as confirmation from Beach himself that everyone on the team and around the team knew of the assault at the time, both Kane and Toews have maintained that they were both completely oblivious back in 2010.

While Kane maintains that he found out with the rest of the world that the victim of the assault was Kyle Beach on Wednesday evening during Beach's tell-all interview with TSN's Rick Westhead, Toews admitted that he knew much sooner - though it wasn't until the following year.

«At the end of the day, I don't wish to exonerate myself in this situation by saying I didn't know. But the truth is, I did not hear about it until training camp the next year," said Toews on Wednesday.

Whether they're telling the truth or not remains to be seen - but the fact that there are multiple players from that team, separate from Beach, who are confirming that everyone in the locker room knew.. it certainly raises some questions.
