It was a night to remember for Detroit Red Wings rookie Lucas Raymond. In his sixth career game in the NHL, he recorded his first career hat trick and also added an assist on Sunday.

Raymond joined a very exclusive list during the win. He became the third Red Wing in franchise history to record four points in a game before turning 20. The other two are Gordie Howe and Steve Yzerman.

He also became the first Red Wings rookie to record four points in a game since Nicklas Lidstrom and Sergei Federov did so in 1991.

The Gothenburg, Sweden native now leads all rookies in goals (4) and points (7), while his teammate, Moritz Seider, leads rookie skaters with five assists.

Raymond and the Red Wings will be back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Washington to take on the Capitals.
