Several NHL players have hit the waiver wires Thursday. Among them is Zac Rinaldo, who was signed by the Columbus Blue Jackets over the summer and then told not to report to training camp as he was unvaccinated against COVID-19.

As pointed out by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the opt-out deadline for the 2021-22 season is Friday, October 1st. Rinaldo could choose that option if no one picks him up from the waiver wire, or he would go to the AHL.

Here is the complete list of players to hit waivers in Thursday:

Arizona Coyotes: Cam Dineen, Hudson Fasching, Dysin Mayo, Blake Speers

Boston Bruins: Callum Booth

Calgary Flames: Luke Philp, Colton Poolman

Colorado Avalanche: Hunter Miska

Columbus Blue Jackets: Cam Johnson, Zac Rinaldo

Minnesota Wild: Joseph Cramarossa, Will Bitten, Dominic Turgeon

Montreal Canadiens: Louie Belpedio, Xavier Ouellet

New York Rangers: Anthony Bitetto, Jonny Brodzinski, Tim Gettinger, Anthony Greco, Keith Kinkaid, Ty Ronning
