For the first time since sustaining a concussion and knee injury in game one of their series against the Montreal Canadiens, John Tavares will see some game action on Saturday night in Toronto's pre-season opener.

Tavares was included on the Maple Leafs' roster put out this morning by their public relations Twitter account, and Jonas Siegel of The Athletic believes the lineup could look something like this:

Bunting-Tavares-Ho-Sang
Mikheyev-Kerfoot-Nylander
Robertson-Amadio-Spezza
Clune-Der Arguchintsev-Gabriel/Seney

Muzzin-Liljegren
Sandin-Brodie
Kral-Biega
Hellickson-Hollowell

Hutchinson
Scott

Puck drop for tonight's game at Scotiabank Arena is set for 7pm ET on Sportsnet One. The two teams will then meet 48 hours later in Montreal at the Bell Centre.
