According to Craig Morgan, the Arizona Coyotes are bringing in former NHLer John Ferguson Jr. to become their new assistant general manager.

"Hearing the Coyotes are close to naming John Ferguson Jr. as their new AGM," Morgan said in a tweet.

He went on to add, "Ferguson would be in charge of the Roadrunners, who went without an AGM for a portion of last season after Steve Sullivan was fired."

Ferguson Jr., 52, has been apart of front offices around the NHL and AHL since 1993 when he began as a scout for the Ottawa Senators. Most recently, Ferguson Jr. was the Director of Player Personnel for Boston Bruins from 2014 to 2021.
