Denmark's national team is one win away from qualifying for their first ever Winter Olympics.

Yesterday, they took on Anze Kopitar and Team Slovenia who they beat by a score of 4-3, with Nikolaj Ehlers scoring twice. Ehlers went above and beyond for his encore performance on Friday afternoon as he put up six points (2 G, 4 A) in Denmark's 11-1 win over South Korea.

Ehlers' Danish teammate and Columbus Blue Jackets forward Oliver Bjorkstrand also had himself a night to remember. Bjorkstrand recorded a hat-trick in the second period of Friday's game and spoke with IIHF.com reporter Adam Steiss following the win.

"It's always a hard game with them, it's going to be a game where you just have to play your best hockey," said Bjorkstrand. "We just got to be the better team."

Sunday will be a very important game for Denmark. As mentioned, a win and you qualify for your first ever Olympic Games. But they'll have to get through their Nordic rivals and tournament host, Norway, in order to accomplish that feat in what will be a winner-take-all.
