Wayne Gretzky has broken his silence. The NHL's all-time goals and points leader has spoken out on the tragic passing of the Gaudreau brothers.

Wayne Gretzky is suffering right now due to this unspeakable tragedy that took the lives of NHL player Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew. He has since penned a statement regarding this tragedy, and fans feel bad for his pain.
"Janet, myself, and our entire family are devastated at this senseless tragedy. We are sending our love, thoughts, and prayers to the Gaudreau family. We lost two great young men who were loved and a huge presence both on and off the ice. Johnny and Matthew, you will always be remembered and missed," Gretzky tweeted.

Johnny Gaudreau will sorely be missed by the fans in Columbus, and no doubt by those in Calgary as well, as he spent nine seasons there before signing with the Blue Jackets in 2022.
Johnny Gaudreau wasn't the only hockey player, as his brother Matthew also played, albeit not in the NHL. Matthew was also a coach at the Gloucester Catholic High School in New Jersey.
We continue to wish the Gaudreau family our deepest condolences during this tough period.
