Today the Boston Bruins have lost key depth forward Oskar Steen after he has decided to sign overseas to return to his home country.

This afternoon reports are coming out that former Boston Bruins forward Oskar Steen is leaving North America. He will be signing with Farjestad BK in the SHL returning back home to Sweden.
Welcome home!
Oskar Steen leaves North America after playing 4 seasons split between the NHL and the AHL. He was selected in the 2016 NHL Draft and has spent his entire career since with the Bruins organization. In his NHL career, Oskar Steen played 60 games and finished with 8 points. At the AHL level, he was much more successful with 116 points in 221 games.
THAT ONE COUNTS. WHAT A GOAL BY OSKAR STEEN
Mason Lohrei gets his shot through, and Oskar Steen is there to crash the rebound and cut it to 3-1.
Oskar Steen is only 26 years old which means if he can have a career resurgence with Farjestad BK he could return to the NHL later in his career. For now he will head home and get to play in front of family and friends easier as he continues his hockey career.
