According to TSN's Ryan Rishaug, Monday night's game between the Montreal Canadiens and Edmonton Oilers has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.

Earlier on Monday, Montreal Canadiens forwards Joel Armia, and Jesperi Kotkaniemi were added to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list. The reason is unknown as to why they were added, but it could range from a positive test, an inconclusive test, or they were around someone who tested positive.

The Canadiens and Oilers are scheduled to meet again on Wednesday night at 7pm ET, but that could also be postponed if the NHL feels the need to do so.

Tonight's postponement marks the first one in the North Division this season. Several teams in the US have had games postponed.
