The Vancouver Canucks have claimed Toronto Maple Leafs forward Travis Boyd off of waivers on Monday, per Sportsnet's Chris Johnston.

Boyd was brought in by the Leafs during the offseason on a league-minimum deal to bolster the club's bottom-six, living up to his end of the deal by producing 8 points in 20 games for the Buds this season.

Boyd had originally cleared waivers on January 12th, which allowed the Leafs to shift him back and forth to the taxi squad freely for up to 10 games or 30 days, whichever came first.

A 6th round pick by the Washington Capitals in 2011 (177th overall) has amassed 11 goals and 28 assists for 39 points in 105 career NHL games, per Hockeydb.com.

The 27-year-old joins former teammate Jimmy Vesey as the second Leafs depth forward claimed by the Canucks off of waivers in the last week.
