The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety remained busy on Sunday as they announced that Edmonton Oilers forward Kailer Yamamoto has been fined $3,854.17 for a "dangerous trip" on Flames defenceman Rasmus Andersson.

The incident occurred late in the first period of Saturday night's game when Yamamoto was battling with Andersson in front of the Flames net. Yamamoto proceeded to kick Andersson in the back of his left skate, causing him to fall. Yamamoto received a two-minute minor penalty on the play for tripping.

Yamamoto finished the game with two points (1 G, 1 A), as the Oilers won by a score of 3 to 2. The two teams will meet again on Monday, March 15th in what's expected to be another psychical tilt.
