Now, he faces an in-person hearing with the NHL's Department of Player Safety, as confirmed by their official account on X.
Insider Elliotte Friedman added to the intrigue of a potential suspension, revealing that the league now has the possibility of suspending him for more than five games, and given his history, it would come as no surprise.
TSN's Chris Johnston supports the potential notion of a longer suspension, and given how unnecessary the move was, it would come as no surprise if he faced his third career suspension of 10 or more games.
Wilson obviously has a lengthy past file of transgressions.
