The Winnipeg Jets have brought Eric Comrie back into their system, claiming him off of waivers from the New Jersey Devils Thursday morning.

It has been a whirlwind of a season for the 25-year-old goaltender, as he was claimed by the Devils on waivers after being placed there by the Jets just one month ago. While his time with the Devils was short lived, he was able to pick up a win in his one and only start, allowing three goals on 33 shots.

This marks the second time Comrie has already re joined the Jets in his career. He was originally drafted by Winnipeg with the 56th selection at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, and went on to spend the majority of his team in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose before being claimed on waivers by the Arizona Coyotes prior to the start of the 2019-20 season. Shortly after, he was traded to the Detroit Red Wings before being placed on waivers and going back to Winnipeg for the second time. Simply put, the last year and a half has been a rollercoaster ride for Comrie.
