The Ottawa Senators and Edmonton Oilers met Monday night for the third time in nine days at the Canadian Tire Centre in the nations capital.

Less than two minutes into the first period, Oilers forward Jujhar Khaira and Senators forward Austin Watson dropped the mitts. Watson got a few punches in, before the pair wrestled to the ice.

Right off the next faceoff, Oilers forward Zack Kassian and Senators defenceman Erik Gudbranson went at it in a spirited bout. The two heavyweights landed several punches, before the referees stepped in to separate them.

Ottawa and Edmonton will meet yet again on Tuesday night, and we should definitely expect the fireworks to carry over into that game. The Oilers won Monday night's matchup 3-1.
