The St.Louis Blues will have to make due without forward Robert Thomas for the next few weeks. Thomas was involved in a collision with Nick Schmaltz in the first period of his team's game against the Arizona Coyotes Saturday night, falling awkwardly to the ice. Check it out:

The Blues have since announced that Thomas broke his thumb. It will take four to six weeks to recover from the injury and get back on the ice.

In 12 games this season, Thomas has put up a goal and five assists. His goal came in the game against the Coyotes before he left with the broken thumb. In a breakout 2019-20 season, the 2017 first-round pick (20th overall) notched 42 points in 66 games.
