Every single game of the Eastern Conference Final ended with only a one-goal differential. It was that tight.

Both teams were competing as hard as they could, but the Panthers ended up winning every night. Why? Bobrovsky was sublime, and the top guns (Barkov and Tkachuk) made the difference.

This makes the defeat even more sour for the Canes. They gave all they had to give, but it wasn't enough to beat the hungry Panthers.

Weird Declaration in Post-Game Comments

Rob Brind'Amour made an intriguing declaration, saying that they did not get swept by the Panthers.

"That's the unfortunate part of this, (people are) going to look back and everyone's going to say you got swept. That's not what happened. I watched the game. I'm there. I'm cutting the game. We're in the game... it could have been four games the other way."

We can understand how he feels. Every game was so tight that no one could've predicted the outcome. Defeat is never an easy pill to swallow, especially when you're so close to winning. Brind'Amour handled it in an exemplary way.
