There's perhaps no character more polarizing in the League than former coach Joel Quenneville, who was most recently with the Florida Panthers. His talent and skill as a coach are undeniable, but the external issues that come with hiring him may outweigh any positives.

Quenneville to Meet With Bettman About Return

Quenneville was ousted from the NHL a few years ago following the release of major details in the Blackhawks assault coverup case. He was the Blackhawks' coach at the time of the assault and its organizational coverup, leading to Quenneville and other prominent NHL figures being fired or resigning.

We now know that Quenneville and Bettman have a meeting in place in the near future to discuss Quenneville's status with the league and determine if he'll be allowed to coach again.

What Do the Fans Think?

Many fans are disgusted with the actions that took place on the 2010 Chicago Blackhawks team, and it would certainly be disappointing to see the man who helped cover it all up return.
