Lane Lambert, a coach for the New York Islanders, has a unique approach to motivating his team. In order to emphasize accountability and minimize mistakes, he has implemented a punishment for missed shots during practice. Specifically, for each shot that misses the net, the entire team is required to do two push-ups.

This approach serves as an incentive for players to avoid missing and stay focused on their performance. The Islanders are currently in a Wild Card position, so every point counts as they strive to make the playoffs. Despite the challenging workout, this punishment is just one example of how Lambert helps his team stay focused and motivated.

For every shot not on net, everyone does two push-ups.

It's great to see an old school style coach implementing this sort of best practice as his team nears the playoffs.
