Anyone visiting this website is likely already familiar with Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe. Not many know that his brother Adam is also a coach, and he certainly shares the passion for the game with his brother.

Adam Keefe has been the head coach of the Elite Ice Hockey League's Belfast Giants since retiring from playing with and captaining the team in 2017. On Sunday, the Giants lost a close game to the Cardiff Devils in overtime. It isn't exactly clear what Keefe wasn't happy about, but he went off on the officials.

After pointing and screaming at the refs, Keefe grabbed the door to the bench and slammed it hard four times in a row before finally walking to the back. He had to be careful that he didn't catch his hand in it and do some serious damage.

Despite his anger, Keefe has coached Belfast to a phenomenal season so far in the EIHL. The team has played 50 games, and currently has a record of 38 wins and 12 losses. Not bad at all. The EIHL playoffs begin on April 8th.

Adam Keefe was never drafted into the NHL. He spent years in the AHL and ECHL before signing with the Belfast Giants in 2011-12 and ending his playing career with the team in 2017.
