The disarray within the Canucks organization during the 2022-23 season was difficult to tune out outside the organization. Imagine having to face all of it from the inside.

One player at the center of the chaos was J.T. Miller. Arguing with teammates/coaches and throwing fits on the bench seemingly alienated the 30-year old from parts of the team. Since Rick Tocchet took over as head coach, the vibes have been much better in Vancouver.

In their last 10 games, the Canucks are 7-2-1 which is one of the best stretches of the season. The saga around Bruce Boudreau will never be forgotten, but for Miller it seems he is glad Boudreau is gone.

Miller said recently, "This wasn't too fun of a place to be in the beginning & mid-part of the year. It was a bit of a shit showit really was. A lot of distraction. I think we've moved on, we understand who we're going to be moving forward. It's fun to come to the rink again."

It's hard to imagine his latest comments are directed at anyone other than the head coach and management. They certainly make sense.

Vancouver's vibes were bad since opening puck drop this season. No question about it, and is Rick Tocchet the sole reason for a turnaround? Maybe, maybe not. Putting the problems on Boudreau, though, seems misplaced.

The Canucks' ownership and management have a lot of questions to answer.
