Another one bites the dust. Former Winnipeg Jets 1st round pick D Logan Stanley has requested a trade.

Winnipeg has to lead the NHL in trade requests per season, which is totally unfair to the good, hard-working people of Manitoba's largest metropolis. GM Kevin Cheveldayoff deserves a ton of credit for fielding a competitive team year after year despite the fact that nobody wants to play there.

Stanley was selected with the 18th overall pick in 2016, appearing in 108 games for the Jets. With all the action so far, it wouldn't be a total shock if Winnipeg was able to move him and get something useful in return, although the trade request doesn't exactly put them in a position of strength.

Cheveldayoff and company have less than 24 hours to make it happen, or else he's stuck in Winnipeg for a few months more.
