The Philadelphia Flyers have been fairly quiet on the trade market so far this week, with the only deal they've made sending Isaac Ratcliffe to the Nashville Predators for future considerations.

One name that is expected to be moved by the Flyers by 3 p.m. ET on Friday is forward James Van Riemsdyk, but it also appears that they may be willing to move on from former first-round pick Ivan Provorov, according to TSN's Darren Dreger.

Dreger said on Wednesday morning that the Flyers are taking calls on the Yaroslavl (Russia) native, who's under contract for another two years beyond this season.

"Flyers are taking calls on Ivan Provorov. Similar to other top 4 D with term, it would take a large offer to move him from Philly. 26 years old. $6.75 mil cap hit for this season plus two more." Dreger said.

Provorov, 26, could definitely benefit from a change of scenery and from the Flyers point-of-view, they should be able to get a decent enough return with assets that can aid in their rebuild/retool.

In 61 games this season, Provorov has 22 points (four goals, 18 assists), 14 penalty minutes and is a minus-12.
