Jarred Tinordi and Jack McBain throw haymakers during old-school heavyweight bout (video)
Tuesday night's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Arizona Coyotes didn't mean much for either team given where they are in the standings. That didn't stop two of the biggest people on the ice from throwing down in a great bout, though.
Late in the first period, the Coyotes Jack McBain laid a heavy hit on the Blackhawks Ian Mitchell. Jarred Tinordi didn't like it, and stepped up to McBain, a challenge he didn't back down from. The six-foot-three, 200 lbs. McBain and the six-foot-six, 240 lbs. Tinordi did not disappoint, staging a bout that featured a few haymakers and some great jabs by Tinordi before they were separated by officials. Great, old-school stuff!
