The Philadelphia Flyers are in Calgary to take on the Flames on Monday afternoon and they'll be doing so without 2014 first-round pick Travis Sanheim.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Flyers have made Sanheim a late scratch ahead of Monday's game. It's unclear if it is for trade-related reasons, as we've seen with Jakob Chychrun and Vladislav Gavrikov in the last week. Sanheim took the warm-up before the game and as Flyers reporter Giana Han points out, he has family in the crowd.

The 26-year-old signed an eight-year contract extension, $6.25 million, with the Flyers back in October that won't kick in until the 2023-24 season, running through the 2030-31 campaign.

In 57 games this season, the Elkhorn (Manitoba) native has 16 points (four goals, 12 assists), 34 penalty minutes and is a minus-seven.
