Ellen and Jim Hughes might end up in the Hockey Hall of Fame if their kids' careers continue their current trajectories.

The Hughes brothers - Quinn, Jack and Luke - each project to have enormously successful NHL careers. The eldest brother, Quinn, has already reached superstar status with 210 points in his first 250 games as a defenseman for the Vancouver Canucks.

The middle brother - Jack - had a slow start to his career with the New Jersey Devils but is on pace for 107 points this season as a 21-year old. Jack Hughes is, without doubt, a superstar in the making.

The youngest of the bunch - Luke - is having an incredible NCAA career with the University of Michigan. In 66 games for the Wolverines, Luke Hughes has posted 21 goals and 44 assists for 65 points.

On Saturday night, he had the best game of his college career, scoring four goals in a comeback win over Penn State, sweeping the two-game series over the weekend.

Selected 4th overall in 2020, the New Jersey Devils' prospect broke his brother's record at Michigan for goals scored by a rookie defenseman.

It has been reported by several sources - including Wolverines head coach Brandon Naurato - that Hughes will join the Devils at the conclusion of Michigan's season.

Judging by his play so far, he is going to fit in like a glove with his brother, Jack, and the 3rd place Devils.
