Arizona Coyotes beat reporter Craig Morgan announced on Thursday afternoon that defenceman Shayne Gostisbehere will miss the next four-to-six weeks with an upper-body injury.

Gostisbehere reportedly suffered the injury during Tuesday night's loss to the Anaheim Ducks and with only five weeks until the National Hockey League's trade deadline, it puts a potential move in doubt.

"Shayne Gostisbehere is expected to miss 4 to 6 weeks with an upper-body injury suffered in Tuesday's loss to the Anaheim Ducks. The injury occurred 5 1/2 weeks before the March 3 trade deadline." Morgan said in a tweet on Thursday.

Gostisbehere, 29, is having another solid season for the Arizona Coyotes, despite the team sitting second-last in the Central Division. After a 51-point season last year, the Pembroke Pines (Florida) native has followed that up with 29 points (nine goals, 20 assists), 28 penalty minutes and is a minus-eight in 48 games.

While it's still possible that Gostisbehere, who's a pending UFA, gets moved by March 3rd, teams willing to acquire him may be hesitant given the injury. Other trade chips to keep an eye on in Arizona are Jakob Chychrun, Nick Bjugstad and potentially Karel Vejmelka.
