The Anaheim Ducks have a number of pending unrestricted free agents they could look to off-load before the NHL's trade deadline on Friday, March 3rd. Of the pending UFA's, the biggest name is John Klingberg.

Klingberg became an unrestricted free agent last season after not re-signing with the Dallas Stars and instead of going with a long-term deal, the 30-year-old opted to bet on himself and inked a one-year deal worth $7 million with the Anaheim Ducks. So far, Klingberg's time with the Pacific Division's last place team hasn't gone as planned.

With the NHL's trade deadline nearly five weeks away, one team that is reportedly interested in Klingberg is another Pacific Division club, the Seattle Kraken, who are battling for first place. Bringing in a top-four defenceman like Klingberg would certainly help the Kraken down the stretch and into the playoffs, as he brings plenty of post-season experience, including a trip to the Stanley Cup Final in 2020.

In 40 games this season with the Ducks, the Gothenburg (Sweden) native has 15 points (six goals, nine assists), 20 penalty minutes and is a minus-26.

Should the Seattle Kraken try to acquire the nine-year veteran before March 3rd? Let us know what you think in the poll below!
