According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Colorado Avalanche forward Anton Blidh and Toronto Maple Leafs forward Dryden Hunt have been placed on waivers for the purpose of AHL assignment.

Blidh, 27, signed with the Avalanche last summer after parts of seven seasons in the Boston Bruins organization. He's split time this season between the Avalanche and their AHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles.

In 13 games with the Avalanche, he's failed to record any points, has four penalty minutes and is a minus-two. Meanwhile, in 23 AHL games, Blidh has nine points (six goals, three assists), 30 penalty minutes and is a plus-five.

Hunt, 27, has played for three different teams during the 2022-23 season. He started off with the New York Rangers, before being claimed off waivers by Colorado in October. Two months later, the Avalanche traded Hunt to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Denis Malgin.

In 37 games between the three teams this season, Hunt has three goals, 24 penalty minutes and is a minus-ten.

In other waivers related news, Jonny Brodzinski has cleared and will be assigned to the AHL's Hartford Wolfpack.
