Tie Domi Posts Moving Tribute to the Late Gino Odjick
Few fraternities are as tight-knit as the NHL's Enforcers' Guild. Even though these guys chuck bombs at and go to war with one another, there is a deep, deep respect between foes.
One that runs beyond the game of hockey, quite frankly. When one brother passes on, the others tend to flock together in a show of solidarity. Upon learning of Gino Odjick's passing, NHL legend Tie Domi published a moving tribute in commemoration.
Domi writes: "So sad and heavy hearted to hear of the loss of one of my favorite brothers to do it. The most respectful nicest guy you would ever meet. We battled a lot but I was never mad or angry at him that's how much I loved him and told him that.
My deepest condolences to Gino's family friends and fans. He was one of the best. He will be missed but never forgotten."
