The Vancouver Canucks came from behind to defeat the Metropolitan Division-leading Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday evening. Forward Brock Boeser scored with 17 seconds remaining in the third period, forcing overtime.

After the overtime period solved nothing, the teams headed for a shootout, where Elias Pettersson came in on goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov and pulled off 'The Forsberg' to give the Canucks the upset win over Carolina.

Forsberg first pulled off the one handed moved at the 1994 Olympics in Norway during the Gold Medal Game against Canada.

This isn't the first time that Pettersson has tried and succeeded at using his fellow countryman's move. He first did it in March 2019 against New Jersey and then December 2021 against Winnipeg.

Check out the beautiful move and goal in the video below!
