Hockey Canada names preliminary roster for 2023 World Juniors

Canada will begin their quest to win back-to-back gold medals on December 26th when they open the 2023 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship against Czechia.

But before that, Hockey Canada will be holding their selection camp, beginning on Friday, and on Monday, they announced the 29 players that will be vying for a spot on the final 23-man roster.

Let's take a look who will be wearing the red and white starting on Friday.

Following selection camp, Canada will play three pre-tournament games, first against Switzerland on December 19th, Slovakia on December 21st before wrapping up their exhibition schedule on December 23rd against Finland.
