According to TSN's Chris Johnston, Boston Bruins defenceman Anton Stralman has cleared waivers. This means that for the first time since the 2008-09 season, Stralman will play in the American Hockey League.

Stralman, who's played parts of 16 seasons in the NHL, joined the Bruins on a professional try-out contract (PTO) in training camp. He played well enough to earn a one-year contract worth $1 million with them, which he signed on the opening day of the 2022-23 season.

In eight games this season, the Tibro (Sweden) native has no points, two penalty minutes and is a minus-three, while averaging 15:22 TOI per game.

In other related news, the Chicago Blackhawks have placed 23-year-old forward Jakub Pour on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination.

Pour, a native of Rokycany (Czechia), was signed by the Blackhawks in June 2021 as a free agent out of the Czech Extraliga. This season, Pour has been playing in the ECHL for the Indy Fuel, where in 15 games, he's recorded five points (two goals, three assists), 15 penalty minutes and is a minus-two.
