Amid rumours that the New York Rangers were looking to deal him, tough guy Ryan Reaves has been traded. According to reports, he's going to the Minnesota Wild. The return is a fifth-round draft pick.

Reaves has played in 12 games with the Rangers so far in 2022-23. He's recorded no goals and no assists, and sits at a minus-5. Of course, Reaves wouldn't be inserted in any lineup to put up points. The Wild have been looking to add grit to the team, and they found it here.

Minnesota will be Reaves' fifth team since joining the NHL in 2010. In addition to New York, he's played for the St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins, and the Vegas Golden Knights.
