After Jagger Joshua went to Twitter to reveal a post that a racial slur was used against him in a recent game, P.K. Subban and Anson Carter are calling on Ohio State and the Big Ten Conference to investigate the incident.

Joshua claims that on November 11 versus Ohio State, one of their players called him a racial slur multiple times. That player was Kamil Sadlocha, who was assessed a game misconduct after one of the referees heard the racial slur. There has been no other action by Ohio State, nor the Big Ten, and this is where people are rightfully upset.

P.K. Subban posted a thread on Twitter voicing his concern towards the situation.

"SMH 🤦🏿‍♂️ enough with the excuses folks. This is not acceptable ANYWHERE ANYTIME!
I am beyond proud of JJ for speaking up and bringing this to light. I am disappointed and so is PIC Co chair, friend, and Michigan State alumni Anson Carter at the initial response of the @b1ghockey & @ohiostatemhky
and call for zero tolerance action on this and any other acts like it moving forward. This isn't about the game of hockey this is about people showing respect to a privilege that has been given to these athletes to be able to compete in a fair and welcoming environment. Ridiculous. If not now when?"

Anson Carter also posted to Twitter questioning why any player would want to play at that school or even the Big Ten Conference as a whole.

"If this is how @B1GHockey and @OSUHockeyClub handle these situations I don't know why any young player would want to play at that school or in that conference!!"

Carter wasn't done, as his support for Joshua brought him back to an incident over 25 years ago.

"This sent me back over 25 years to when a University of Michigan hockey player called me a n*****! He never ended up playing for the New York Islanders and TODAY I'm pushing for a ZERO tolerance policy!! Some of these players could find their way to the NHL and that kind of behavior isn't tolerated at the game's highest levels. Ohio State Men's hockey and Big Ten Hockey your lack of action is embarrassing and holding our game back. Jagger Joshua we support you!!"
