According to Adrian Dater of Colorado Hockey Now, the Colorado Eagles, AHL affiliate of the Avalanche, have suspended defensive prospect Danila Zhuravlyov for leaving the organization and returning to Russia for personal reasons.

The 22-year-old was drafted by the Avalanche in the fifth round in 2018 and after spending the last few seasons in the KHL, he made the jump to North America prior to the start of the 2022-23 season.

He played in 14 games for the Eagles this season, putting up one point, six penalty minutes and was a minus-four, before deciding to head back to Russia.

If Zhuravlyov wants to play in the KHL again, Dater mentioned that whatever team he may sign for needs permission from the Avalanche as he's still under contract with them until the end of the 2023-24 season. It appears that he may have already received that permission because according to Elite Prospects, he's been loaned to AK Bars Kazan, his former club.
