Pretty much anyone who has watched any hockey over the last few years likely saw this one coming. The only surprise is that it took this long to announce. After retiring from the NHL, ESPN has announced that PK Subban has joined their team as a full-time hockey analyst.

Subban has signed a three-year deal with ESPN. The network says he'll mainly work as an in-studio analyst, but will do some games as well.

"I've known for a few weeks now. It's been tough to have known what I was going to do that and just kind of keep it close to the chest. But I'm excited now that we're now here," Subban said. "I had done some work last postseason and it was great. I enjoyed working with the producers and everybody."

Subban, 33, spent 13 seasons in the NHL with Montreal, Nashville and New Jersey. He is a three-time All-Star, a Norris Trophy winner, and reached the Stanley Cup Finals with the Predators in 2017.
