Insider Details Why Teams are Hesitant to Sign Sonny Milano

Insider Frank Seravalli stormed onto the insider scene over the past couple of seasons, and he has become a must-follow on all platforms. He broke the entire Seattle Kraken expansion draft, and he is always breaking something.

He recently appeared on Sportsnet 960 and had an absolute field day. Among other things, he revealed why many teams are skeptical in signing forward Sonny Milano.

Milano is an interesting player. Any team in search of offensive support should be all over him, yet fear of an injury is keeping him a free agent. That is weird.

That said, he set a career high in points with 34 last season. Even with his impressive underlying statistics, how much money could he really command? He was expected to have a deal by now, and the fact that he is not should be encouraging to contending teams because he would probably opt for similar deal as Evan Rodrigues; one year 'prove-it' deal.
