The Edmonton Oilers are actively shopping forward Jesse Puljujärvi, and as expected there are numerous teams in on the Finnish power-forward. According to New York-based sports personality 'Incarcerated Bob,' the interested parties include the Buffalo Sabres, Montreal Canadiens, Carolina Hurricanes, and Minnesota Wild.

Puljujärvi is a polarizing player; on one hand he has great analytics and physically dominates every game, whereas on the other, he had serious trouble scoring in big minutes alongside Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman, two guys who score a lot. If he can't score with McDavid, who can he score with?

It's a valid question.

Hence, he finds himself on the trading block. A smart team would look to pick up the former 4th overall pick at a discount here; Puljujärvi has had trouble scoring, but he is due for a serious regression to the mean. Which, in his case, means his production ought to increase heavily this season, unless of course he sees his minutes and role diminished. In which case, he could be in for another 36-point campaign.
