Kyrou blew up last season, scoring 75 points in 74 games including 9 points in 12 playoff games. His impressive outputs last season matched with his strong play in his rookie and sophomore campaigns earned him a serious raise, identical to that of his teammate Robert Thomas.
The Blues secure a star player at a fixed rate for the next nine seasons (the deal doesn't kick in until 2023-24), and the salary cap is set for a sharp increase in the near future. Just 24, Kyrou still has room for growth, which is great news for Blues' fans. They have a desirable blend of youth and eldership and are a threat to make a deep playoff run every year.
