Most hockey fans likely know of, and enjoy the original Mighty Ducks movies. From 1992 to 1996, Shaun Weiss starred in three of them as the fan favourite Greg Goldberg, known in the movies as just "Goldberg." A lot of fans are also aware that Weiss' life took a major turn over the last decade when he became addicted to meth, down to 96 pounds, and living on the street. He hit rock bottom when he was arrested in a garage attached to a home where he was attempting to steal items to feed his addiction.

"That's not normal."

"This is a very serious problemI was in horrible shape. I was probably going to die if those sheriff's deputies didn't step in and save me."

Weiss celebrated his second year of sobriety early this year.. He told People.com recently that becoming famous at 13 likely contributed to his battle with drug addiction.

"It made me an adrenaline junkie. Things were a lot more exciting for me than the average 13-year-old — taking trips and flying to places and being in movies."

"So I was very addicted to the excitement of things. And when that went away, I didn't really know how to get that feeling. And I found that in drugs."

Weiss is getting back into acting after a 14 year hiatus, with a role in the upcoming Lionsgate movie Jesus Revolution. Before that, his last role was a part in the film "Drillbit Taylor" in 2008. It's great to see Weiss looking much better in the interview with People. At the time of his arrest, he was in a terrible condition.
