Four teams have pretty much steamrolled everyone else during this summer's World Junior Championship; USA, Canada, Sweden, and Finland have outscored opponents by a collective 68-15 over 11 games between them. Canada's decisive win over Czechia featured a couple of highlight goals from which I am still coming down.

First and foremost, the game-winning goal scored by Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Kent Johnson, which overshadowed the rest of the match. The Michigan Wolverine scoring the Michigan goal at the World Juniors tied 1-1, and it holds up as the game-winner. Pretty cool.

And to top the whole affair off, Team Canada captain Mason McTavish undressed Czech netminder Tomas Suchanek in the second period to put the game out of reach. McTavish is a men among boys out there right now, he leads all skaters with 10 points in the tournament. This goal has been playing for 24 hours straight, since he scored it at 7:29pm:

Canada has its toughest test yet when they square off against Finland tomorrow. Will McTavish continue to dominate against Team Finland? I don't see why not, he has been the best player on the ice every night for Team Canada, except for maybe Connor Bedard.
